Top 5 Travel and Local Apps Performance in Bahrain for Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the travel and local apps landscape in Bahrain showed varied performance across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Visa Airport Companion saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 2.4K and peaking at over 6K in the week of September 23, before settling at around 4.7K by the end of the month.

The Nusuk | نسك app maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 900 to 1.3K weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 1.3K in early September.

Wego - Flights, Hotels, Travel experienced a gradual decline in downloads from just under 1K at the start of the quarter to around 700 by the end of September.

For Airalo: eSIM Travel & Internet, download numbers started strong with over 2K in August but saw a decrease to roughly 760 by the end of September.

Lastly, Mastercard Travel Pass downloads showed a downward trend from just over 1K in early July to about 570 in late September, before a slight recovery to approximately 660 in the final week.
